HOW TO RUN IT
Recruit class captains
- Confirm the official donation link can capture graduating year without releasing names.
- Ask volunteer captains from different decades to recruit classmates, with permission to use alumni pages.
- Publish class totals only after gift settlement and verification; use one year per row.
- Celebrate both dollars and people participating, not just the wealthiest graduating class.
PUBLIC DATA CONNECTION
How the board becomes live
Publish a separate approved Google Sheet tab as CSV with fields class_year,received,donors,updated_at. Enter the feed URL in config.js as alumniLeaderboardCsvUrl. Do not include donor identities, individual gifts or confidential campaign records.
A public CSV is visible to everyone. No leaderboard will be shown until the feed is connected and returns valid totals.
